Hollywood’s highest paid actor

The well-known American actors Johnny Depp, Ben Stiller and Tom Hanks are the three highest-paid performers in Hollywood, according to a new list published by business magazine Forbes.
Depp, star of the popular franchise “Pirates of the Caribbean ‘, stands well with the title of highest-paid actor in the industry thanks to U.S. $ 75 million was admitted between June 2009 and that same month of 2010.
“Depp is placed on top of our list this year thanks to his role as the ‘Mad Hatter’ in 3-D update he gave to ‘Alice in Wonderland’ Tim Burton,” say the makers of the ranking, which emphasize that the Disney film has grossed over a billion dollars in worldwide box office.
In second place is situated Stiller, with revenues of $ 53 million, largely from their participation in the new installment of the series’ Meet the Parents “and its role as a producer on films like ‘Megamind’, studies DreamWorks.
By pocketing 45 million dollars for the film adaptation of Dan Brown’s book ‘Angels and Demons’, Hanks closes the top three of a list that is followed by Adam Sandler (40 million), Leonardo DiCaprio (28 million) and the young Daniel Radcliffe (25 million), known for his role as Harry Potter.
Rounding out the list of Forbes billionaire faces as known by the public and the controversial Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Cruise (both with 22 million) and Brad Pitt (20 million) and George Clooney, with revenues of $ 19 million .
To develop the ranking, Forbes makers talked to agents, producers and lawyers in the world of Hollywood to calculate the income received by actors in films and advertising contracts between June 2009 and the same month of 2010.
